“I am Alone, but I’m with Creation '' reacts to a kind of gypsi life of the artist, the time of isolation and mostly combines Heleliis Hõim’s past year’s creation.
Studio on a constant move.
One's work must continue when an art studio is absent. So how to create while on an adventure? While being affected by all new environments, the artworks are challenged by changes. Creative processes are personal and mostly isolated, when privacy is absent artists life is quite chaotic. Permanence is widely missed. While letting go of the ideals of a studio space everything is possible in time. Temporary environment determines new materials, ideas, tools and the working time, but at the same time the challenge of abstract changes is liberating from all the fixed structures.

The exhibition is a combination of oil paintings, sculptures and installations. The installations and sculptures play with the nature of studio elements and isolated practices. The paintings are a summary of the abstract series started in 2020, and a further development of the exhibition that took place at the Fahle Gallery in 2020, being supplemented by residing in 2021 in Riga.
